The 2019 Clan Moffat Society AGM is being held in Asheboro, North Carolina. The organisers are Joey and Trey Moffitt.

The current line up of planned events is:

Wednesday July 17 Evening	Meet and greet at the hotel. Anyone who comes earlier can enjoy local sites that we can direct you to.
Thursday July 18	Morning After breakfast there will be a choice of two “bus” tours. Pottery, which our region has been famous for since the 1700’s, or the Richard Petty Museum.Sporting clays, AND possibly a group to the local water park, depending on the interest. Afternoon to Evening A Good ‘Ole Southern Family reunion at the Moffitt home. There will be southern cooking of several varieties, scaled-down Highland games for the kids, young and old, including our own “Reiver Games”. There will also be a pond to swim and fish in, with a bluegrass band. There will be bikes of all sizes for kids and adults to ride around the place. We may have a special guest or two drop by. The Reunion will cost $20 per person, under 18 is free. Transportation will be provided to and from the hotel. Bring your favorite spirits to drink and share.
Friday July 19	Morning Zoo Day We will have a trip to the NC State Zoo, the largest land area and natural hab-it zoo in the world. The first 50 Clan Moffat Society Members to sign up will be given free tickets. $17 per person after the first 50, or for non-members over 18. There will be a minimal charge for transportation. Thee are places at the Zoo for lunch and snacks. Early Evening A Group dinner at one of our popular restaurants downtown. Meal and drinks are on your own. Night Executive Board Meeting at Hotel
Saturday July 20	Morning After breakfast there will be a choice of “bus” tours. Sporting clay’s($27.00), or choose a historical tour of the local area where the Moffitts settled in the late 1740’s and the part they played in local history ($3.00), AND possibly a group to the local water park ($34.00), depending on the interest. Or time off to explore on your own. A list of local attractions will be provided. Afternoon 2-4 Clan Moffat AGM at Hotel Evening Clan Moffat Society’s Annual Banquet. A choice of your favorite food from one of the areas premier venues, with an ode to a Haggis, installation of our Officers and more. Transportation will be provided to and from the hotel. Prices pending.
