The 2016 Clan Moffat Society AGM is being held in Warwick, Rhode Island . The organisers are Warren Moffatt, and John and Carol Moffett.

Guided Tours of Newport, Mansions and Harbor Cruise - Bus will pick us up at 9am and we'll leave for Newport, Rhode Island to visit and/or see historic Newport sights and landmarks, a 10 mile ocean drive and some of the mansions of "the gilded age". We'll visit "The Breakers" - the grand home of Cornelius Vanderbilt, and see Cliff Walk.
Lunch is on your own from 1:00-2:30pm and then we'll be back on the bus to travel to the waterfront to pickup a Newport Harbor Cruise and see the fancy yachts.
Following that we'll return to the hotel.

Beach Adventure and Lunch at George's Seafood Restaurant - We'll travel by bus down to the waterfront, have lunch at George's Seafood Restaurant and time to walk along the beach, and return to the hotel by bus.

Rhode Island Scottish Highland Festival - travel by bus to the Rhode Island Scottish Highland Festival at Washington County Fairgrounds. Return to the hotel by 5pm. |
